This program is designed for students interested in healthcare careers, specifically in becoming nurse aides. It focuses on caring for those in need, including elderly individuals, people with cognitive issues, and those with multiple co-morbidities.

Program Cost
1800.00 which includes a non-refundable 300.00 deposit. Payment plan option available.
Theory
Theory classes run every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Classes are held at Greater Sacramento Urban League. Located at 3725 Marysville Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95838.
Clinicals
Clinicals are held Monday-Friday 7:30am-2:30pm Clinical Sites Advance Healthcare of Sacramento 1411 Expo Pkwy, Sacramento, CA 95815 Arden Park Post Acute 3400 Alta Arden Expy, Sacramento, CA 95825 American River Center 3900 Garfield Ave, Carmichael, CA 95608
Course Information
Skills Learned: Performing ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) such as bathing, ambulating, and turning. Assisting individuals with daily functions. Course Structure: Total Hours: 160 Theory/Lab: 60 hours Clinical: 100 hours Students will receive a certificate of completion upon successfully finishing the course. Graduates will be eligible to sit for the state certified nursing assistant exam.
Requirements
Please note in addition to the registration and tuition fee to The Intentional Group CNA Training Program, students must get LiveScan Fingerprinting, physical exam and TB-test from their healthcare provider, as well as pay for the State Board CNA certification exam (est. cost $120).
